Founder
Imee is the founder of Mindfulness Asia and co-founder of the Philippine Insight Meditation Community. She is a UCLA-Trained Mindfulness Facilitator, a Community Dharma Leadership Program graduate of Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and the Membership Coordinator of International Mindfulness Teachers Association. She is a board member of Braided Wisdom, a core leader of Deep Renewal Women’s Gathering, and a visiting teacher at the East Bay Meditation Center. She develops and facilitates innovative mindfulness programs for international companies, schools, and events. She volunteers to teach incarcerated women serving life imprisonment in the Correctional Institution for Women and supports abused women and children being sheltered in Bahay Tuluyan.
JANET ROOS, PMP CMT-P
Janet is recognized as an innovator in Business Technology for over 30 years. She has worked as a highly respected “In-House” and “Consultant” leader for world renown companies. She is a UCLA-Trained Mindfulness Facilitator and a fully certified member of the International Mindfulness Teacher’s Association. She brings Mindfulness Best Practices to corporate employees, athletes, and others. Her goal is to provide a “Mindfulness Framework” for supporting career development, stress management, change/uncertainty management, and career/life transitions. Janet is a four time “Hall Of Famer” recognized elite athlete who understands the inherent value of employing mindfulness practices for competition, sports preparedness, and training. has volunteered with Non-Profit Organizations and currently serves on two non-profit boards in the San Francisco Bay Area.
MARGARITA "TUCCI" REYES
Tucci is a trained teacher for Mindful Self-Compassion (MSCTM) through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, under the School of Medicine at the University of California - San Diego (UCSD). She is a also a trained teacher for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) under the Mindfulness Initiative at Singapore Management University (SMU) and UCSD Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute. She is a facilitator and trainer for the Conflict Resolution Group (CoRe) and Reintegration of Care and Wholeness (RCWFI). She is also an accredited mediator for both the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) under the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the National Center for Mediation (NCM) under the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). She is a former school administrator and director, preschool teacher, and Kumon instructor.
